It has new textures but they're just fuzzy colours really. I'm not a fan (yet) of the texture packs which add patterns and stuff on wool.

Oh yes you should :) I'd suggest when you install it, pick the half default one as you said you like default textures.

If you can't quite manage figuring out how to do it, post a comment on my blog.

Also sorry about taking a while to get the server back up, things being very complicated =/

Thanks (: Lol well I'll teach you something, when [link] is down, no one can play anyway, because you can't log in to play Minecraft online, so there's no point even trying to get it working at the moment =/
